The Sunda pangolin's main predators are the tiger and the clouded leopard.

Among the endangered animal species of the range the Sunda Pangolin deserves mention.

Sunda Pangolin (Manis javanica)

In the past, this species has been included with the Sunda pangolin, Manis javanica, but has been considered a distinct species since 1998.

In 2006 the program also began focused conservation activities for Vietnam's two species of pangolin, the Chinese pangolin and the Sunda pangolin.

Other rarer mammals include the Leopard Cat, Sunda Pangolin and Black Giant Squirrel.

The nature reserve boasts a rich biodiversity with over 500 animal species including Flying Lemur, Common Treeshrew and even the Sunda Pangolin.

Other smaller mammals include Sunda Pangolins (Manis javanica) and the recently discovered Striped hare, called locally "tho van" (Nesolagus timminsii).

It also provides habitat to some wild animals that are rarely seen in main island Singapore such as the Leopard Cat, Sunda Slow Loris and Sunda Pangolin.

Confirmed prey species include hog deer, slow loris, brush-tailed porcupine, Malayan pangolin and Indochinese ground squirrel.
