First Ivorian Civil War (2002)

Second Ivorian Civil War ends with the arrest of former president Laurent Gbagbo.

We meet Rudy Guede, the itinerant Ivorian who remains the only person convicted of the crime, now serving 16 years in prison.

He was a member of the West African mediation group during the Ivorian Civil War and participated in the cease-fire negotiations.

In the reorganization of August 1996, each of these three main campuses became independent universities, accountable directly to the Ivorian Ministry of Education.

Amara was named in the Elephants provisional squad for the 2008 African Cup of Nations in Ghana, but was left out of the final squad, with the Ivorian's wealth of attacking options limiting his chances.

After that program was evacuated in September 2002 due to the outbreak of the Ivorian Civil War, he transferred to the Peace Corps program in Madagascar, where he served an additional six months before leaving the Peace Corps.
