IAAF competition

When the female triple jump was introduced to the IAAF competitions, she moved to this discipline as one of the first competitors.

The race must be organised in accordance with IAAF Competition Rules, the standards of the national athletics body, and must comply with all relevant local and national laws.

The winner, by IAAF Competition Rules, is determined by the first athlete with his or her torso (not including limbs, head, or neck) over the nearer edge of the finish line.
