Achromobacter

Achromobacter ruhlandii is a Gram-negative bacterium included in the order Burkholderiales.

This enzyme is present in Achromobacter lyticus and Lysobacter enzymogenes.

The strains are in the genera Enterobacter, Klebsiella, Citrobacter, Flavobacterium, Achromobacter, Arthrobacter.

Denitrifying bacteria tend to be anaerobes, or facultatively anaerobes (can alter between the oxygen dependent and oxygen independent types of metabolisms), including Achromobacter and Pseudomonas.

Bacteria from the genera Aerobacter, Acetobacter, Achromobacter, Agrobacterium, Alacaligenes, Azotobacter, Pseudomonas, Rhizobium, and Sarcina synthesize cellulose.

These CuNIR are found in many different plants and bacteria; for example, the bacterial genera Pseudomonas, Bordetella, Alcaligenes, and Achromobacter all contain CuNIR.
